It’s not every day I get published in this great mountain biking magazine. As a mountain biking photographer, I am always happy to see my work in print, but what makes me even happier is the look on rider’s face when I tell him that the picture of him will be published. Especially when the rider works so hard for the shot.

Looks like winter’s done here in Whistler. Some of the SheGNARnigans crew took advantage of the early start to the season by getting out for a few laps in Pemberton. Finally we had a chance to try our new bike clothing from Royal Racing. The guys look so good in the new gear. Thanks for the support, Royal!

As a mountain biking photographer, I am always excited to work with the guys from Czech Velo magazine. They came up with an interesting theme for their March issue. The theme is contrast and they look at biking from different angles. Two of my images made the cover and bunch of them were published in the actual issue.

Dirt Series Mountain Bike Camps, in my opinion, are the best bike camps for women. Tested myself, I can tell you that you will learn much more in one weekend during this camp than in a whole season riding with your friends. Happy to see that couple of my photos ( including the main pic) have been used for their 2013 poster. Now, bring on the summer! I can’t wait!

One of my favourite shoots of the year is the lifestyle shoot for Whistler Blackcomb. As a Whistler outdoor lifestyle photographer, I really enjoy working with these guys. The shoot is always different, and this year, I was assigned to take photos of one of the best spots on the mountain – the Crystal Hut and their famous waffles.

As a Whistler lifestyle photographer, I could not be happier when I’ve heard from Mountain Life magazine editor that they will publish one of my photo in their first photo annual issue. The shot was taken last fall in Tofino. Steve was coming back from his surfing session and I saw his reflection in the puddle. All I had to do is turn it upside down for more of an artsy feel.
